You will learn to design and weave woven bands suitable for hanging clothes or towels, as bookmarks, ties for clothing or gathered bags, or for wrapping floral bouquets or gifts.

After learning the fundamental steps while weaving a small band, I guide you in designing your own longer band. Included in the workshop fee is your own kit with all the tools required to complete this band at home and to continue weaving independently.

In my Wellington studio classes can be one to one, or a small group of up to 4 students (a discount is offered for 2 or more people booking together for the same workshop session).
